FOCUS ... and success will be given to you
(Press Release) Following the success of the “Leadership in Times of Crisis” training, the Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (DCCCII) understands that the ability of people, particularly the public and private decision-makers to focus, especially during times of crisis, is an essential element for survival and success.
Internationally-known publicist Max Markson also believes that focus is one of the pillars to a successful business alongside persistence and enthusiasm. With this, DCCCII is organizing a training-seminar entitled “FOCUS: Achieving your Highest Priorities” to help key sectors achieve greater success through strategic decision-making and improving efficiency in day-to-day operations.
This one-day facilitator led, interactive, video-based workshop will be conducted by Ms. Elaine Bernardo-Rodriguez, a Franklin Covey licensed and certified facilitator, and organizational, management and business development consultant. Among expected outputs of the training is for participants to (1) stay focused and become effective with a reliable planning system that focuses on value-aligned time management integrating various productivity tools; (2) apply a planning process that gets better results based on execution and priorities; (3) reduce stress by recognizing and eliminating distractions, low-priority activities, and competing demands on your time; and (4) achieve balance and renewal, avoiding burnout and frustration.
Workshop kits would include a Franklin Covey Planning System designed to integrate a Franklin Covey planner, PDAs and other productivity tools, a focus assessment to personalize the workshop content and measure personal productivity improvement, and a Franklin Covey resource CD-ROM, which provides an interactive tool for designing a custom planning system.
DCCCII invites all the members of the Business and Public Sector Communities to get involved in this specially- designed training on productivity and time management come 11 June 2009; 8am-5pm at the Marco Polo Hotel. The training is part of the series of activities that DCCCII has lined-up for this year in partnership with the Center for Leadership and Change, Inc. (CLCI) - an authorized distributor of Franklin Covey products and services.
