SME Center Trainings
As part of its commitment to harness the skills and capabilities of local SMEs, the Davao City SME Center provides skills-enhancement and capability building trainings. SME Center trainings are subject to provisions.
Livelihood Tapes for SMEs
The Davao City SME Center shall utilize the fifty-six (56) livelihood tapes of the Technology and Livelihood resource Center (TLRC) and the audio-visual facilities, which includes the 18-inch television and video home system of the DCCCII.
SME Center's Special services: Policy Advocacy, Business Information Exchange, Library and SME Databank
The SME Center offers other special services to its clients.
SME Center Consultancy
Small and medium enterprises need advisory services because they want to improve their business. However, establishing their own advisory departments would not be cost efficient for them, hence, advisory services in a Chamber can provide important advantages.
SME Center Investment Promotions
The Center renders Investment Promotion services by mainly assisting in the coordination, integration and implementation of the DCCCII’s trade and investment promotion facilities through the conduct of trade fairs, exhibits, business conventions and various business fora.
Technical Assistance on Finance for SMEs
In order to meet the needs of local SMEs in terms of assistance in accessing funds, the Davao city SMED Council, engaged into a Memorandum of Understanding with five (5) financial institutions, namely, Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), Network Rural Bank of Southern Mindanao, Planters Development Bank, Anchor Savings Bank and two guarantee institutions, namely, the SB Corporation and the Quedan Rural Credit Guarantee Corporation for the Technical Assistance on Finance and for SMEs (SMEs-TAF).
Center for Market Development and Facilitation
The SME Center will also be the implementing Center of all initiatives of the SMED Council as regards providing market opportunities to SMEs in Davao City.
